Reformer Pilates is suitable for people of all fitness levels, including those who have never done mat Pilates before. The Reformer uses springs, pulleys and your own bodyweight on a moving carriage to create resistance that can be adjusted to accommodate different levels of strength and flexibility. This makes it an ideal exercise option for anyone (of any age!) including beginners.
I will tailor the class to suit your ability and goals, adjusting the resistance for each movement, slowly increasing it and adding in new exercises as you get stronger. Reformer Pilates focuses on building strength, flexibility and balance, while also providing a low-impact, full-body workout.
If you want to get stronger, more toned and more flexible, or have been suffering with back, hip or shoulder pain come for a trial session. Classes are £45 for 1:1, or £60 for a Duo, per 45 minute session, these can be booked individually or every week. (Trial session £25.)
